cbseThe Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has recently uploaded supplementary study material on its website. The material covers the additional sub-topics included in its Class XII theory syllabus for Physics, in the chapter on Communication Systems, for the March 2015 board examination.

The additional material covers various aspects of internet, mobile telephony and the Global Positioning System (GPS).
This content is not to be found in textbooks prescribed by the National Council of Educational Research and Training (NCERT). The students were earlier informed about the same by the board through a June 2014 notification.
As mentioned on a website, the supplementary material, which has already been made part of the syllabus which was announced earlier, has been uploaded in the public domain for the benefit of the students and teachers.
