The University received the recognition from University Grants Commission- the higher education regulatory body of India- for central Govt. Grants in Feb. 1983. It is based in Rohtak (Haryana) and is in easily reachable distance from both National Capital (Delhi) and State Capital (Chandigarh). Nearly 580 institutions/colleges are affiliated to Maharishi Dayanand University. • Those who have attained minimum 50% mark in Graduation or in Post Graduation can apply for B.Ed. admission

B.Ed College allotment process:

The college allotment to the candidates will be done on basis of scores gained in the graduation or post graduation exam, merit counts in the counseling process.
