DELHI UNIVERSITY ADMISSION APPLICATION FORM 2024-25

DU Admission 2024 process will begin with the release of CUET UG/ PG applications in January/ February 2024. Delhi University or DU offers admission into various UG and PG courses in various fields like Engineering, Arts, Commerce, Management, etc. Students can apply for admissions by obtaining qualifying scores in national level exams – CUET UG/ PG. The conducting authority of CUET exams is National Testing Agency. Admissions into various courses are also offered through merit scores (12^th level). For management admissions (MBA), CAT scores are considered. Whereas, for various medical courses, admission is provided through NEET scores. • The application form of DU 2024 (through CUET) will be released in February 2024 for UG and from March 2024 for PG courses.
• Students must register online before filling application form.
• Fill details correctly and carefully as no changes will be allowed after submission.
• After completion of application process, correction window will be opened only for making changes in specific fields.
• Multiple/ duplicate applications will get rejected.
• Before filling the application, make sure to be ready with documents as per the specifications.
• After completely filling the application, recheck before final submission and print it for further reference.

Application Fee:

• Fee varies as per course and subjects chosen.
• Fee payment can be done through debit card/ credit card and net banking method.
• Fee is non- refundable in nature.

DU Admission 2024 Eligibility

For admission into various UG/ PG courses in Delhi University, students must check DU eligibility given below:

For UG courses:

• Candidates must have passed 12^th level or its equivalent from a recognized university/ institution.
• Students appearing in 12^th level in 2024 are also eligible to apply irrespective of their age.
• There is no age limit to apply.
• Students will be required to fulfill age criteria as per the University or Institution in which they are taking admission.

For PG courses:

• Candidates must have passed Bachelors degree or its equivalent from a recognized university/ institution to be eligible.
• Students appearing in Bachelor’s degree in 2024 are also eligible to apply irrespective of their age.
• There is no age limit to apply.
• Students will be required to fulfill age criteria as per the University or Institution in which they are taking admission.

DU Admission 2024 Entrance Exam

The DU (Delhi University) Admission 2024 will be based on the CUET entrance exam for UG courses. For PG course, admission will be based on the CUET PG exam. The exam will be conducted through online mode for both UG & PG level.

The CUET exam will consist of total 100 questions for both the papers. In UG level, there will be Multiple Choice Questions (Questions) asked in the exam. For PG level, there will be Objective Type Multiple Choice Questions asked in the exam.

DU Admission 2024 Merit List

The merit list of DU Admission 2024 will be released in the month of June/ July 2024 for UG courses. A separate merit list will be prepared by the authority for both UG and PG courses. Candidates will be able to check the merit list through online mode on the website.

Those candidates who submitted their application within the given period of time will be considered for the preparation of the DU merit list. On the basis of the exam result and the prepared merit list, the admission will be given to the candidates.

DU Admission 2024 Cut Off

After the declaration of the result, the DU Admission cut off 2024 will be released by the authority. The authority will prepare a two separate merit lists for merit based and entrance exam based. The cut off list will be checked by the candidates through online mode.

The authority will shortlist the candidates for the admission on the basis of the prepared cut off. Candidates will have to score more than the cut off marks to be eligible for the admission procedure.

DU 2024 Admission

The DU admission 2024 will be offered on the basis of the scores obtained by the candidates in class 12th level exam and university level entrance exam organized by NTA. The admission procedure details will be communicated to the candidates.

After the declaration of the merit list and result, the counselling session will be conducted. For every shortlisted candidate, the authority will release the admission letter for the further admission procedure.
