What is D. Ed?
D. Ed is commonly known as Diploma in Education and it is also popularly known as JBT (Junior Basic Teacher Training). Where its admission process is handled by HBSE Board, on the other hand, its counselling process is handled only be SCERT. Candidates who are interested or eligible for this course should immediately take admission into the D. Ed courses by filling the applicant’s form asking your necessary details and then, submit it on its official site which is www. dedharyana.org and that too before 20TH June 2025. Once the last date got wrapped up, applications will not be accepted anymore over official website via online mode.
Eligibility criteria for Haryana JBT/D. Ed application form 2024
- Students should have passed 12th class with an aggregate of 50% from recognized universities or Board.
- Admission is open to bonafide residents of Haryana only.
- Relaxation of 5% is permitted in qualifying marks at Senior Secondary level for Scheduled Caste, Backward Classes and Differently abled Candidates.
- Besides, relaxation is not granted in the case of Special Backward classes and Economically Backward Class Persons in the General caste category.
- Completed matric with Hindi or Sanskrit as two main subjects.

- Unreserved categories have to pay Rs 500 as application fee.
- Reserved categories have to pay Rs 275 as application fee.
Selection procedure
- Candidates will be selected for admissions depending on the merit list of obtain marks in 12th standard and stream reservation.
Syllabus for Haryana D. Ed course 2025-2025
In Haryana universities or colleges, Syllabus is categorized into two main parts that is theory and practical. Several parts are included in theory portion that are education in Emerging Indian Society, Educational Psychology, Secondary education consisting of issues or problems, information and communication technology, method of teaching I and methods of teaching II and specialization. Practical portion include microteaching, teaching of subjects I, teaching of subjects II, Criticism Lessons, final lesson in Methods of Teaching Major subjects, Work experience, working with community and social service and five psychology experiments.

- Click on Apply Online link
- Register yourself by filling necessary details.
- You will obtain ID and password.
- Login in with your ID and fill online application form with all required details and pay application fee at SBI or Axis Bank.
- Make a click on Submit.
- Once you are done with this, take a print out of submitted application form for future reference.
